Bridge of Orchy Hotel (3.6 miles)

Highly recommended for dining. We particularly enjoy their haggis croquettes served with whisky sauce. The restaurant can get very busy, so we recommend calling to book in advance. It’s also a popular scenic round-trip destination and a featured stop on the West Highland Way (WHW). Dog-friendly.

Glencoe (27.8 miles)
Unmissable for its beauty if you’re in the area. A great destination for families, with something for everyone. In winter, visit Glencoe Mountain Resort for sledging; in summer try tubing, which is just as fast and fun. See scenic Glen Etive, the James Bond Skyfall backdrop where Bond races his iconic Aston Martin DB5 through breathtaking landscapes. The Three Sisters offer a long hike gaining about 3,000 ft — totally worth it. If you prefer something steep but short, try the Devil’s Staircase, which provides spectacular views of Etive Mòr and the Mamores. Aside from the steep ascent, this section presents no major terrain challenges.
