Pets
Auch Cottages are pet-friendly. A maximum of two dogs per booking is allowed. An additional £30 cleaning fee per dog will be charged.
As we are a working farm, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times to protect your pets and the other animals on the Auch Estate.
Unfortunately, individual En-suite Rooms in Trail Cabins cannot accommodate dogs due to the shared living and kitchen space. However, if you book a Four-Bedroom Trail Cabin for exclusive use, dogs are warmly welcomed.
Arrive with Car & Bikes
Cars
Designated parking is available outside your cottage:
-En-suite Rooms in Trail Cabins: One parking space per room
-3-Bed Cottages: Two parking spaces per cottage
If you have more cars than the allocated space, please park at the office area, which is available on a first-come, first served basis.
Bikes
Feel free to use our indoor bike storage shed during your stay. Guests can access it at any time, though we do ask that you bring your own bike locks. Bringing an e-bike? Please get in touch with us for details about charging.
There are five 7 kWh slow EV charging points available on the estate. A £10 fee per night per car applies for unlimited charging during your stay. Please bring your own charging cables.
Alternatively, fast chargers are available at The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, just 4.5 miles from Auch Estate.
West Highland Way Baggage Transfer
We work directly with the main West Highland Way baggage transfer services: AMS, Travel Lite, and Baggage Freedom. As a newer property, our name may not appear on their website drop-down menus yet, but daily pickups and drop-offs are fully coordinated with them.
How It Works:
Directions & Access: 48 hours before your arrival, you will receive a map with precise directions to our 24/7 self-access storage shed.
On Arrival: Head directly to the storage shed to collect your luggage once you arrive.
On Departure: Place your tagged bags in the shed before heading out in the morning for seamless transfer to your next stop.

- Check-out: By 10:00
As we are a small team in a remote location, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. A £50 per hour late fee will apply, as we need to prepare for incoming guests. Thank you for your understanding.
Check-in and check-out instructions will be shared 48 hours before your arrival.
To find your key lockbox:
- Look for the cottage sign next to the main door.
- The lockbox is located on the opposite side of the sign.
Please return the key to the lockbox upon check-out.
During Your Stay
You will be staying in the heart of Auch’s local farming community. Please be respectful and considerate of neighbours. As this is a working farm, you may experience noise from farm animals or working farm dogs.

Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided. Please note that, as we are in a rural area, connectivity may occasionally be interrupted.
Food & Dining
We do not currently have a café or restaurant on site. All Auch Cottages and Trail Cabins are self-catered.
We offer three to four convenient ready-to-cook options for evening meals. Freshly prepared by a local, family run farm shop and café, these delicious meals require zero preparation and are incredibly easy to cook. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. All meals can be pre-ordered directly via our website for £14.00 each. Learn more.
Complimentary breakfast is included in your stay at the Auch Trail Cabins.
The nearest grocery options are The Green Welly Store and The Brodies Mini Market in Tyndrum, approximately 4 miles from Auch Estate. We recommend stocking up at a supermarket on your way to Auch.

Breakfast Service for Trail Cabin guests:
A complimentary continental breakfast is provided for all Auch Trail Cabin guests. We offer a fresh selection of pastries, seasonal fruits, cereals, yoghurts, artisan bread for toast, and a variety of spreads. To give you complete freedom in the morning, breakfast items are prepared the evening before and stocked on the countertop and inside the fridge of your shared Trail Cabin kitchen. You can flexibly help yourself anytime the morning before check-out.
Dietary Requirements:
We gladly cater to vegetarian, vegan, and special dietary needs with a dedicated selection of mueslis, porridge, plant-based milks, fresh fruits, dairy-free yoghurts, and vegan-friendly spreads. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking your stay. While we cannot guarantee every request, we will do our best to accommodate your needs prior to your arrival.
